What We Do
Since 2009, Affordable Housing Centers of Pennsylvania — known throughout the community as AHCOPA — has helped Greater Philadelphia residents achieve and protect their most important investment: their home. We provide free, expert housing counseling to low- and moderate-income households and people of color, guiding clients through every stage of the homeownership journey.
Whether you're taking your first steps toward buying a home, navigating a financial crisis, or planning to protect your home for the next generation, we are here to guide you.
We are a HUD-certified, nonprofit housing counseling agency — which means our counselors have passed rigorous national standards to give you unbiased, expert advice. We're not a lender, not a realtor, and not working on commission. We work for you.
